These cinnamon rolls skip the yeast and rise time, making them quicker while still teaching dough-shaping techniques.

Ingredients
For the dough:
2 cups flour
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
¾ cup milk
¼ cup melted butter
For the filling:
2 tbsp butter
¼ cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Preparation
Mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder together.
Add the milk and melted butter and bring the dough together.
Roll the dough into a rectangle.
Spread butter and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over it.
Roll the dough tightly and slice into 8 pieces.
Place on a baking tray and bake at 180°C for 18–20 minutes.
Serve warm, optionally with icing.
