About the Recipe

These oatmeal bars are chewy, sweet, and perfect for meal prep or a mid-day treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats

  • 1 cup flour

  • ½ cup butter, melted

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 egg

  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  2. Mix the oats, flour, and sugar together.

  3. Add the melted butter and egg and stir until combined.

  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  5. Spread the mixture into a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes.

  6. Allow to cool before slicing into bars.
