This simple banana bread is warm, comforting, and perfect for using up ripe bananas.

Ingredients
2 ripe bananas
1 egg
½ cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
Preparation
Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth.
Add the egg and sugar and mix well.
Fold in the flour and baking powder until just combined.
Pour the batter into a tin and bake at 180°C for 35–40 minutes.
Let it cool slightly before slicing.
