About the Recipe
A quick, fresh snack inspired by classic Italian flavours that looks impressive but is incredibly easy to make.

Ingredients
4 slices of baguette or crusty bread
2 medium tomatoes, diced
1 garlic clove, finely chopped or grated
4–5 fresh basil leaves, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: a splash of balsamic vinegar
Preparation
Dice the tomatoes, finely chop the garlic, and slice the basil leaves.
Place the tomatoes, garlic, basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix gently.
Lightly toast the bread slices until golden and crisp.
Spoon the tomato mixture evenly over the toasted bread.
Serve immediately while the bread is warm and crunchy.
